![]() ______________________Red Dead Redemption______________________________ Okay, so first of all, this is not just Grand Theft Auto in Old West Times. This game is awesomely better than any GTA I have ever played. I really enjoy this game because while some missions may be a little tedious, it is relatively easy in comparison to say GTA IV. And thank goodness they didn't have helicopters back then because I hated that part on GTA IV. I mean yes some cops might chase you around if you shoot some hooker in the middle of town or maybe say "accidentally" shoot some scraggly looking dog or something, but if you keep your nose clean then your good. And if you do have the sudden impulse to do something that is frowned upon, it is alot easier to out run cops on horseback through some fields than it is to get out of a high speed chase in a car through a town full out people. The story is very good and the cut screens flow very smoothly together with the rest of the game. Sometimes you will encounter some random stranger that is all sad because the sheriff’s office won't help them and for some reason they think that some random guy walking around with some guns is just the right person for the job, so then you have to do a side mission, which can be pestering, but fun at the same time. My favorite thing is riding around shooting random animals and skinning them. Although, you have to be careful when pursuing some animals into the wilderness because you will get attacked by some stupid mountain lion, or a bear or something (the bears do move a lot slower than say a cougar, but they sometimes travel in packs of two-four.) The wolves and coyotes are no real challenge (even though they travel in packs of say six-eight) because if you shoot a couple of them the rest will run off. This game is super addictive and I have had a hard time putting the controller down. The online multiplayer games are pretty fun, although there isn't really a lot of people playing online (probably because they just don't have the game yet) I am sure it will pick up in a few months. You also can pick from a wide range of different characters to be in the Free Roam Mode, and more unlock when you complete different challenges. There are some pretty interesting challenges, like say having to shoot 5 chickens or something. I really do like the auto-aim feature that they have because, it can be a little hard to see some targets from afar. It makes it a lot easier to shoot a whole pack of wolves or in the story sometimes you will run into a gang of thieves that try to trick you into coming over to "help" them and then try to ambush you. Oh really? I don't think so; booms pull the left trigger, shoot a couple rounds into some ones chest, then lather, rinse and repeat. Or you can use Dead Eye by pressing in the right analog stick. Dead Eye is a method by which time slows, enabling your character to make more accurate shots. It is very handy when trying to just disarm an opponent. The way that the designers were able to encompass the way things were back in the ole' west is great. So anyway this was just a little bit about how much I love Red Dead Redemption, if you have never played it, I suggest you start. On a scale of 1-10, I would give this game a 8 1/2. And that's the final word because I said so.

Star Trek This movie was totally awesome, and no I am not a “Trek Freak”. I really enjoyed this movie because; they were able to stay true to the original characters without making them lame. The casting was right on for the parts the actors were portraying. The chemistry was great between everyone, especially Spock and Kirk. The fight scenes were very believable, and entertaining. The computer animation was great and didn’t seem fake, like you would expect. So in all a great movie, so on a scale of 1-10 I give Star Trek a 9 ¼, And that’s the final word, because I said so. Transformers Ok I loved the Transformers as a kid and I still do. The first movie was super good, the second one was better than that and I am guessing that if they make anymore they will be just as good if not better. I like it when they make movies from my favorite toys and shows from my childhood. This was way better then G.I. Joe, But TMNT beats it because, they rule! So I say this was a great movie, great story and great computer animation, I love BumbleBee!!! So on a scale of 1-10, I give it a 9. And that’s the final word, because I said so. Chrystal Taylor.

Bruno First of all, what the f*ck is up with this movie? This is by far the worst movie to date that I have ever seen. I hated it, and did NOT enjoy seeing nasty shriveled up testicles at all. I have nothing against homosexuals but they went a little over the top with this. I know a few gay men and they act nothing like what this movie portrayed. But I guess if you’re an immature 14 year old you may find this movie funny. (No offense boys) So as a grown up that does enjoy comedy very much, this movie really sucked *ss. On a scale of 1-10 I give this horrible movie a 1 and that’s being kind. And that the final word, because I said so. Chrystal T.

Monsters vs. Aliens This movie was entertaining, funny and had good animation, all pluses. I liked the story line and Seth Rogan is super funny, even if it’s just his voice. I don’t really think this movie is aimed too much for kids under like 12, but parents can decide. In all a good movie and worth the price I paid for it. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 7. And that’s the final word, because I said so. Chrystal taylor

The Hangover Ha, ha, ha, ha, LMAO. I am still laughing from watching this movie. I love the story line, the actors and the fact it takes place in my favorite place, Vegas. Zach Gala-fa-whosa-whatever is hilarious, Even though it was hard not to think of him as the morgue guy from Tru Calling. I would love to see a sequel or a T.V. show run off from this movie. Maybe they could go camping and get lost and have to eat some berries that end up being poisonous. That would be pretty funny, huh? So in all a really super funny movie with great watch it over and over quality. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 9 ½. And that’s the final word, because I said so. Chrystal Taylor

Adventureland Who: Who the heck came up with this story line, and was it just some bad dream they had? What: Was there a point to all this, or what? Why: Why did I waste my money on a movie I wouldn’t leave on for my dog to watch while I am at work. When: What year was this taking place in, and was it really that dull back then? How: And how much was the budget for this piece of dog doo-doo? I was so confused and bored that I actually fell asleep ¼ of the way through and had to skip back a few chapters on the dvd. This dvd would make a good coaster and that’s about it. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 5 because there are worse movies out there like 2012. And that’s the final word, because I said so. District 9 There is something oddly familiar about this movie. It’s kind of like if 'The Village' and 'Men in Black' had a baby and then that baby had the runs and 'The Blair Witch' changed its diaper. Yep I knew it seemed like I had seen it before. Anyway, this movie is a little confusing and moves at a snails-pace, but there is some good blood and guts footage. So this movie was alright I guess, if there isn’t anything else to watch. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 6 ½. And that’s the final word, because I said so. Chrystal Taylor

This movie was pretty good and really made me think. I wonder if in the future gaming is really going to turn this way. I mean in a way the idea is kind of cool, but it is also a little sick. The two main games reminded me of Halo and The Sims, my two favorite video games. Could you imagine if the halo characters were real people out there somewhere? Well the movie gets an 8 on a scale of 1-10. And that’s the final word, because I said so.
![]() Ninja Assassin This movie was freaking awesome. The fight scenes were great, I liked the story line and the main character was totally bad-ass. I love his weapon that he used a lot; I don’t know what it’s called but it’s like a knife on the end of a chain and I want one. You can tell that Rain does a lot of his own stunts and that is pretty cool. So in all it was a great movie. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 9 ½ and that’s the final word, because I said so. Kick-Ass Basically, the name says it all, because this movie was Kick-Ass. Well, I must say, I thought this movie was going to be kind of lame. But I was pleasantly surprised by all the action and the good story line. Chloe Grace Moretz was totally awesome in this movie. She is going to be getting a lot of parts in movies after this one. Nicolas Cage is an awesome actor and does a great job. Although Christopher Mintz-Plasse’s character could have been better, he did well. Aaron Johnson does a good job at acting like a total geek, and pulls off the super hero thing pretty good. I hope that there will be sequel, and I can’t wait to read the comic book. So on a scale of 1-10, I give it a 9 ½, Plus an extra ¼ for being based on an actually comic, so in all a 9 ¾. And that’s the final word because I said so. Chrystal Taylor
